週末、イギリスでは「グッドウッド・フェスティバル・オブ・スピード 2025」が開催されているが、土曜日のプログラムでは多くのF1マシンのデモ走行が披露された。

「グッドウッド・フェスティバル」は、ヨーロッパ最大規模のモータースポーツイベント。歴代のF1マシンをはじめ、往年のスポーツカーやヒストリックカーが数多く集結する。最新のマシンも参加し、メーカーは話題のクルマを走らせたり展示を行う。

土曜日のプログラムでは、元ワールドチャンピオンのＮ・マンセルが「ウィリアムズ FW11」をドライブし、往年の走りを披露し。ウィリアムズのＪ・ボウルズ代表は「ウィリアムズ FW14B」をドライブし、ファンを沸かせた。また、アストンマーチンのマネージング・テクニカル・パートナーを務めるＡ・ニューウェイも草創期のF1マシンをドライブした。
